This is a stunning 2017 Dakota Red Nash PB-57 in Excellent Condition

Another inspiring creation from Bill Nash has just landed at MotoMusic—this one is for the true connoisseurs of tone and feel. The Nash PB-57 pays tribute to the iconic 1957 Precision Bass, blending timeless design with modern reliability. Finished in a beautifully aged Dakota Red nitrocellulose lacquer and tastefully relic’d to vintage perfection, this instrument captures the spirit of a well-loved, road-worn classic. This bass weighs 8.16lb

Built by hand in the USA by Bill Nash and his small team, Nash guitars are revered by working musicians worldwide for their tone, feel, and stage-ready performance. Each instrument is crafted with an eye toward vintage authenticity and sonic excellence, and the PB-57 is no exception.

This bass features a lightweight alder body, a smooth and comfortable maple neck, and a gold anodized pickguard that perfectly complements its Dakota Red finish. Under the hood, it’s powered by a hand-wound Lollar pickup—renowned for its clarity, warmth, and punch—delivering a rich, commanding low end that holds the groove with authority.

Our 2017 PB-57 is in superb condition, clearly cherished by its previous owner. It has been professionally set up in our onsite workshop with a smooth-playing action and exceptional responsiveness. Whether you're holding down the low end in a live trio or laying down tracks in the studio, this Nash delivers the kind of tone and reliability serious bassists demand.

Included is a high-quality ABS hardshell case to keep your investment well protected.

As with all new arrivals at MotoMusic, this Nash PB-57 has been thoroughly inspected and set up to ensure it's ready for many more years of musical service.
