Built exclusively for Midwood Guitar Studio, we hand-selected the woods for this instrument straight from the PRS Private Stock Vault. It features a striking Curly Maple top over a dense, resonant South American Mahogany body, all wrapped in a high-gloss McCarty Glow nitro finish. Unlike a typical sunburst that's sprayed with paint, a Glow finish is created by carefully staining the wood, allowing the natural figuring to shine through.

South American Mahogany is denser and more resonant than the more commonly used African Mahogany. To take advantage of this tonal depth while keeping the weight manageable, we opted to chamber the body like a semi-hollow—but without an F-hole. The result? A powerful, resonant instrument that weighs in under 8 lbs.

The DGT-carve Mahogany neck, also flamed, is topped with a dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, featuring White Mother of Pearl bird inlays outlined in Gold MOP. A matching Curly Maple headstock veneer completes the look.

Under the hood, a set of PRS DGT pickups and a versatile two-volume, push/pull tone control setup deliver everything from warm, singing cleans to focused, articulate overdrive. Add in the PRS Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners, and you've got a tonal toolbox that’s as reliable as it is expressive.
