Fender Custom Shop 59 Stratocaster HSS Relic Desert Sand Metallic

The LTD '59 Strat HSS - Relic, Desert Sand Metallic electric guitar is a top model from the Fender Custom Shop limited edition.

The alder body of the guitar is decorated with a Desert Sand Metallic color treatment and a Relic finish with authentic-looking artificial patina elements in the form of small abrasions, scratches and scars, which gives the guitar the appearance of an instrument that has already been played and flamboyantly played in clubs and bars for some years. A 9 mm thick AAA rosewood fingerboard with twenty-one Narrow Tall (6105) frets is glued to the neck of flamed maple with AA quality pattern.

The ’59 (SH-1) humbucker bridge from the renowned Seymour Duncan brand and two hand-wound Strat Fat 60s single-coils with a slightly larger winding provide the guitar with both a “hotter” version of Strat vintage single-coils and the sound and feel of PAF humbuckers from the late 50s. The absence of a second tone diaphragm is striking among the controls. The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and synchronized tremolo.

The guitar is delivered in a case.
