Goya 107-S Rangemaster Hollow Body Electric Guitar

Manufacturer's Description

Manufactured in Italy in the late '60s, this very cool guitar shows noticeable, but normal cosmetic wear one would expect with a vintage instrument, yet is in very good playing condition! The original 3-button tone controls and the 6-button pickup selector controls were found to be non-functional and were replaced with one all-encompassing unit featuring a single tone knob and three pickup selector switches. Custom-made by our very own master luthiers, it gives the player a variety of tonal options with the following pickup combinations: 1+2, 1+4, 2+3, 3+4 & OFF (the only combination it does not feature is FULL). The original 6-button assembly was left installed in the guitar for cosmetic purposes (again, this is non-functional). The original non-functional 3-button assembly is included inside case. The master volume knob is also a replacement, but the guitar appears to be in otherwise all-original condition. Plays and sounds great! Very aesthetically pleasing with its cool vintage vibe...TONS of mojo!

BODY

The body is in very good cosmetic condition with normal scratches, pressure dimples and finish checks.

NECK

The neck is straight as an arrow! Frets show moderate wear, though play is not affected. Fretboard wear and age-related shrinkage of the block inlays can also be detected. Normal scratches can be seen on on top of headstock, while a few finish chips can be found on back/tip of headstock.

HARDWARE

Chrome hardware shows noticeable, but normal scratches and oxidation. There is no tremolo arm, as this model was originally sold without one (optional arm was sold separately).

CASE

Original hardshell case shows normal scuffs and scratches, as well as a crack at the headstock end. As for the interior, the lining in the upper portion is absent and the Internal ribbons are broken/detached. In otherwise fully functional condition with working latches/hinges.
