The Chopping Kinky is a voltage-controlled double-channel wave folder.
CHARACTERISTICS
Each of the two channels of the module has a unique profile of wave fold. In each entry there are two CV entries
to control the waveform level, including one that passes through an attenuator.
A wavefolder converts simple signals into richer and more dynamically changing ones. In contrast to a
filter, wavefolding adds harmonic content to the waveform. It works by amplifying the waveform until
begins to saturate, then, instead of cutting, the waveform is folded back on itself.
