Rock-steady Semi-hollow Stunner - The gorgeous good looks and tones of a semi-hollow 6-string don’t have to cost a premium, and our favorite is Ibanez’s Artcore AS73G. Structured with a double-cut body of linden wood, the lightweight, balanced, and easy-playing nature of the AS73G makes a perfect springboard for confident playing. A comfortable AS Artcore neck profile adds to the command of its exceptionally smooth 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard. Voiced with Classic Elite humbuckers and per-pickup Volume and Tone controls to match, there isn’t an old-school dual-coil vibe that the AS73G can’t accommodate. Dependable hardware, including a Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece combo and sealed-back Ibanez tuning machines, ensures that the AS73G gives players the convictive confidence to practice, perform, and record at their very best.

Comfortably crafted - With a top, back, and sides of lightweight linden, the AS73G hangs over the shoulder with strain-free comfort. Its semi-hollow construction helps fend off typical feedback found in full-hollow designs while scoring serious style points with its gorgeous dual cutaways and bound sound holes. Up its set nyatoh neck, the AS73G wields with wonderful command thanks to Ibanez’s compound AS Artcore neck carve, offering universal C-shaped comfort for hands of all sizes to find a sure hold at any fret. Accented by classic acrylic block inlays, the smooth and well-sustaining rosewood fretboard gives every note you play the VIP treatment.

Two Classic Elite humbuckers - Laden with rich tonal appeal and a fattened low end, the Classic Elite humbuckers stationed on the AS73G are engineered for smooth and present playability. As a result, these are ideal for nailing that old-school humbucker sound. Additionally, the Classic Elites prove exceptional candidates for a wide range of genres, from rock and jazz to western, alternative, and beyond. Pair that beautifully versatile sound with the tone-shaping toolset of a 3-way pickup selector and per-pickup Volume and Tone controls, and the AS73G quickly creates a perfect sonic palette for players of an enormous range of musical backgrounds.

Tough hardware and sharp looks - To close out the pleasant playability of the AS73G, Ibanez has appointed this 6-string a solid assortment of hardware. At the headstock, six proprietary sealed-back tuning machines offer precision adjustability to the tune at hand. Following suit down at the body, a Gibraltar Performer bridge works in conjunction with a Quik Change III tailpiece to prioritize quality responsiveness and steadfast intonation security. Matched with vintage-style control knobs, plus elegant binding and inlaying from head to toe, the AS73G is a true player with the curb appeal to steal the spotlight.
