This is hands down one of the most unique guitars I’ve ever owned. Built by Kurt Schoen (pronounced “Shane”) out of Walla Walla, WA, this beast is crafted from reclaimed wood taken from an actual ammo box. The result? A weaponized work of art with an undeniable aura of badassery.

Schoen pours everything—heart, grit, craftsmanship, and unfiltered creativity—into every piece he builds. This isn’t just a guitar. It’s a post-apocalyptic rock relic that looks like it was forged in the fires of Mad Max and tuned up by a warlord with taste.

Details that Set It Apart:

• Bullet casings serve as the control knobs, with one embedded right into the neck.
• Tuners are modified Eagle Lock Co. key turns paired with Grover Deluxe hardware.
• The pickups are wrapped in real rattlesnake skin, and yes, the rattle is still inside the body cavity.
• Serial number 007, which practically begs for a James Bond reference. But think less tuxedo, more Fallout survivor with a .45 strapped across his back and a scar running down his face.
