Design & Collaboration:
This model is a more accessible iteration of the original Silver Sky, designed in collaboration with musician John Mayer.
Body & Neck:
It features an ergonomic poplar body, a bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable 635JM carve, and a rosewood fingerboard with PRS trademark bird inlays and a 25.5” scale length.
Pickups & Hardware:
The guitar is equipped with three vintage-style 635JM “S” single-coil pickups, a two-point steel tremolo system, a synthetic bone nut, and vintage-style tuners.
Playability & Tone:
The 8.5” fingerboard radius is designed for effortless playability, while the pickups aim to deliver vintage-inspired tones with modern clarity.
