The Laney LIONHEART Foundry LFSUPER60-212 is a dual-channel, all-analogue, solid-state 60-watt guitar combo with two 12" speakers mounted one above the other (vertically aligned), built-in tremolo and chorus, digital spring reverb and a speaker-emulated XLR DI output.

CHANNELS AND BOOST

Channel 1 is the clean channel, with a Volume control and a Bright switch. Channel 2 is the drive channel, with Gain and Volume controls and a three-way Normal / Bright / Dark voicing switch. A pre-boost with its own level control sits in front of both channels.

EQ

A passive 3-band tone stack (Bass, Middle, Treble) plus an overall Tone control that sets the top-end response.

EFFECTS

Choose Vintage Tremolo or Spiral Chorus (based on Laney's Black Country Customs Spiral Array chorus pedal), each with Rate and Depth controls. The digital spring reverb is based on the Black Country Customs Secret Path pedal.

FOOTSWITCHING

Two rear footswitch sockets, each for an optional Laney FS2-MINI. One switches the reverb on and off and changes between tremolo and chorus; the other switches the boost on and off and changes channels.

POWER MODE

A rear switch sets the output to full power (60W RMS) or less than 1W for quiet playing.

RECORDING AND PRACTICE

The balanced XLR DI out carries Laney's LA·IR impulse-response cabinet emulation, with a choice of 1x12 or 4x12, an on/off switch for the emulation and a ground lift switch. The 1/4" effects loop's FX send doubles as an unemulated line out. The 1/8" stereo headphone output follows the same cabinet emulation and mutes the speakers, and a 1/8" stereo aux input lets you play along with a phone or media player.
