Pair of (2) Vintage Akai SS-110 Alnico 2-Way Speakers 10"Coaxial Efficient Ex Sound - 1960s - JAPAN

Pair of very early Akai SS-110 speakers, Alnico 10" woofer and Alnico 3.5" tweeter, 10 watts, 8 ohms. They use the nice quality vintage Alnico Horseshoe Magnets. These early Akai speakers were often sold with vintage Akai reel to reel decks. They can be used as very efficient home speakers and be easily driven by small tube amps. They have a 1/4" input connection and can be buckled together for transport, with a handle. They are in nice well cared for original working condition. They have a few small nicks and scuffs and all buckles for attaching them together for storage, carrying, etc. They are in good original cared for conditions, a few small scratches, small scuffs, a few dings, nothing serious at all. I do not smell any smoke on these speakers. They sound very good, open, detailed, clear and very efficient. When buckled together they measure 20x20x16. They have the incomparable vintage Japanese Akai design, attention to detail, craftsmanship, parts quality and sound quality that only vintage components can offer.
