This was a project using a used no-name body with some superficial paint cracks and dings along with a Squier Tele neck. The relic was done by scuffing up the bridge, control plate, installing pre-aged tuners and banging up the body here and there while sanding the back of the neck for a worn, played-in look. The dark stuff is not dirt or grime, but a teeny application of graphite to mimic that look. The knobs are real old ones given to me by my guitar repair guy. In all, I believe in a “less is more” approach to aging as the results are more subtle and, IMO, more realistic. The P90 is GFS (I think) or an equivalent over-the-counter one while the bridge PU is generic. Both sound pretty good. Crack on the back of the body is in the finish and NOT the body as far as I can tell. US and Canadian buyers only; UPS shipping. No returns.
