For your consideration is a 2021 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Todd Krause Eric Clapton Stratocaster in Almond Green. I bought this new in November 2021. I am only selling this guitar to fund another one of these in a different color that I prefer. This Almond Green color is no longer being made and will likely prove to be quite rare. Eric first used this color in 2019, I believe on the Japanese tour. He used it for the rest of 2019, at the Royal Albert Hall, plus a swing through the U.S. West Coast. I believe Eric’s wife asked Fender to make a Strat in this color, which matches his Aston Martin. I've attempted to show the color in a multitude of different lighting environments so you can tell how it looks in person.

These are Masterbuilt by Todd Krause, who builds all of Eric’s Stratocasters. It doesn’t get any better. This particular example has a perfect maple fretboard with straight grain lines, and nothing prominent. It looks and feels like smooth marble. Please see the close-up pictures.

If you’re looking at this guitar, you likely know the story about the EC Strats, but they are great “Swiss Army knife” guitars, capable of a multitude of sounds.

The guitar is essentially in mint condition, but listed as ‘excellent’ here, officially. The plastic has been taken off the pickguard, and back plate, and the strings have been changed once. The original hard shell case is included along with all case candy.

• Weight = 7.65 lbs (7 lbs, 10.4 oz)

Normally, frets on EC Strats are a little lower. These were crowned a smidge taller, so it’s very comfortable. I wish I could keep this guitar because it plays amazingly—there’s just another color that I’m after.
