FOSTEX RD-8 ADAT 8-Track Digital Audio Recorder w/accessories AS IS NO RETURNS
Fostex Adat machine. Sold as is as stated. Fostex RD-8. Pretty amazing MSRP was $4999.00 when these came out. It was cutting edge sync capabilities. I was leaving town (Nashville) and could not carry a studio full of rehearsal equipment back to MS. I ended up trading this for stuff that took up a trailer. I got GREAT use from it. I recorded several projects.
At one point the tape started slipping and not keeping up. When this happened, I got a black face ADAT and continued on with my recording career.
This has sat unused for about 25 years. I have not tried it of late at all. It might still play back okay but right now I have no need of playing back any of the old VHS size tapes. It'd be cool to archive them but there is only so much time in a day.
