Introducing the Taylor Gold Label 517e—a next-generation Grand Pacific dreadnought designed for guitarists seeking classic warmth, greater sonic depth, and Taylor’s unmatched precision. Part of Taylor’s acclaimed Gold Label Collection, the 517e is built with a deeper Grand Pacific body for more low-end “lung capacity,” greater projection, and a harmonically rich, earthy voice that feels both seasoned and soulful.
A torrefied Sitka spruce top meets solid mahogany back and sides for a robust, vintage-inspired tone that’s warm and open, yet clear and articulate. The 517e’s full-gloss natural finish (also available in sunburst or blacktop) showcases its gorgeous wood and understated, workhorse style.
Equipped with Taylor’s innovative Fanned V-Class bracing and the exclusive long-tenon Action Control Neck™, this guitar offers a unique blend of old-school character and modern adjustability, allowing effortless string height tweaks without removing the neck or strings—an acoustic gold standard for versatility and comfort.
