☑️ The proprietary plug has been meticulously 3d-modeled in CAD software (took many revisions to get it right).
☑️ The connectors are hand-crimped and assembled in-house
☑️ The positive and negative voltages are the same as a OEM power supply. It's a misconception that they are +10v and -10v. When reading with an oscilloscope they are actually 12v. The Tascam 644 and MM1 have voltage regulators inside and create more voltage values within their circuitry.
☑️ The 7v timing signal has been recreated with a custom circuit board that also adds extra layers of protective fuses.
☑️ The power cable is using high quality 18 awg 4 core wire, and the length matches the original length of the PS-M1
☑️ The core of this power supply is using a Mean Well power modules. Mean Well is a trusted power supply manufacturer, and the module has built-in safety mechanisms as well.
☑️ The case has been custom designed and 3d-printed in San Francisco, CA
