Vintage 1978 Ibanez CN-100 Electric Guitar w/ Original Hardshell Case!

Up for sale is this vintage 1978 Ibanez CN-100 electric guitar. This is a beautiful and great playing example of a fairly uncommon Ibanez model from a very highly regarded era for Japanese instruments. When you play this one, you truly understand why.

This instrument is all original with the exception of the bridge pickup (which has been replaced long ago with a vintage DiMarzio Super Distortion), the nut, and the truss rod cover (no extra holes so if you have one, you're good to go). The original tailpiece has bowed slightly, which is common on these.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows wear including numerous dings, scuffs, and scratches. The worst of this is a large ding/scratch on the back (pictured) and a ding on the back of the neck (pictured) that can be felt while playing. The instrument features a beautiful, dark sunburst finish and some beautiful grain underneath.

This one has just been gone over by our tech who sprayed out the electronics, adjusted the truss rod, and gave it a clean bill of health. It plays great with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets show wear but still retain a good amount of life.

The original hardshell case is included and the instrument will be well-packed inside to ensure safe shipping. The case is in nice condition for its age, but does show wear and one latch is busted (pictured).
