A good box stock they are often revered for their good quality at their price point and feature a 240v tube rail but some users find them to be a bit crunchy sounding, not super dynamic or warm and have a higher noise floor compared to a top tier design making them a good commercial piece, but what if we could get them up to a PRO high end standard?

What the service does to the audio:
The service on these increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail of the three dimensional image.

We lower the noise in both the tube and analog rails. Increase the opamp voltages from 15v to 18v for more headroom and better top end detail and more as listed below.

Our goal with these modifications is to make the unit sounds smoother, fuller and more musical with a lower noise floor and more ear pleasing tone.

On this unit we have modified:

The Mic preamp on both channels is updated with a better bandwidth, lower noise and higher headroom preamp and some added warmth.

High Performance Burr Brown opamps are installed in all audio locations for better detail, bandwidth, dynamic range etc.
Coupling and de-coupling modifications are also performed throughout the circuit using premium parts for better frequency response, lower noise and more musicality. Adjustments in values made as needed.
Buffer stages of the audio path are also modified for even better audio performance from the entire unit.
The power supply is modified for better current delivery and lower noise of the entire unit as well
EQ section Modifications for lower distortion and more musicality
New low noise Tubes in both preamp sections as well.
