This Frankenstrat that I built is a one of a kind instrument that was a true labor of love. This wasn’t just a build; it was a personal project I poured time, effort, and creativity into, inspired by the legendary tone and style of Eddie Van Halen’s iconic guitar. This isn’t just a tribute, it’s a fully functional piece of playable art, and I’m proud of how it turned out.
The body was an Ash hard tail strat body that I converted to accommodate a brand new genuine Floyd Rose Special tremolo system. The neck is a Mighty Mite maple fingerboard and neck, With a Gotoh FGR-2 locking nut. It uses a Fender volume pot and there is a DM-50 switch in the middle pickup position just like Eddie's. The humbucker pickup in the bridge position is from a 1980's Kramer Focus 3000. Featuring era accurate reflectors on the back and a 1971 quarter on the front.
This is not an EVH brand guitar
