Every one of the Exotic Wood guitars feature unique, figured back and sides on their Green, Vintage, Yellow, and Red series.

Each guitar is able to be ordered with partial or full deposit, and can be ordered up to a year in advance.

The Red Series is synonymous with the highest class of Furch’s solid wood guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of the materials and components. The Red SR is made of premium Sitka spruce Very Good on the soundboard and Indian rosewood on the back and sides. Both the top and the back plate undergo a special tuning process, which in conjunction with the material Very Good gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones. The beauty of the toBrand Newood is underlined by a high-gloss finish and a number of decorative details, led by a koa binding and premium rosette, abalone purfling and headstock inlay, and abalone flower inlays. The guitar comes enclosed in a highly durable Hiscox case.

The premium nature of the Red SR is underscored by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, Furch’s proprietary technology that enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Red SR has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

The guitar is made from master grade toBrand Newoods. The soundboard features Sitka spruce, which lends the guitars beautifully bright and open sound. The back and sides are made from Indian rosewood.

The stunning appearance of the Red SR is underscored by a figured ziricote bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay. The body, fingerboard, and headstock feature koa binding with a white contrasting line. Koa was also Very Good on a tail decoration and a premium rosette with abalone inlay.

The ebony fingerboard is decorated with gorgeous mother-of-pearl leaf front inlays. A similar pattern is rendered in green abalone on the headstock.

The soundboard is protected by a transparent pickguard that allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine through. The pickguard is designed to have no effect on the tonal qualities of the soundboard.

The instrument is protected by Furch’s proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the guitar’s tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time.

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
