Excellent+ condition 1999-2002 Fender Stratocaster ST57-TX 57 reissue crafted in Japan. Comes with a made in Germany Vintage Deluxe tweed hard case with 2 keys and Fender Monogram strap both in same condition as guitar. Was purchased as a package altogether by my father in 2003 from Smithys musical instruments Camperdown Sydney. Guitar info It's a P05 serial number. All websites say manufactured between 1999-2002. The crafted in Japan is in bold letters. Most I see are in running writing. I found one identical fonts PO5 serial on Strat-talk forum saying built 2001 so I'm guessing it's in the relm. The only way of knowing for sure is to remove the neck. The guitar has never been apart so I don't really want to remove it. It felt like the pickguard had never been removed before as I needed to take a photo of the USA clothed wired Texas special pickups. I can count a dozen very light marks on guitar finish to hard to photograph. The frets have been polished with very minor wear. Can't hear any fret buzz and action is low. The electronics all work fine. I plugged in to amp and checked the pots and 5 ways switching for crackles and all was fine. The bottom tone knob has some sort of burn mark on it (pic5) which I can't explain. Besides from some minor imperfections guitar is in original. I also noticed the 62 shoulder in tone pot cavity and it's Tokai Gakki production. Weighs a tad over 3.5kg. view pics
