Rare version of the famed Lucille from the Custom Shop (NOT Memphis). This was made in 2012 which was the first year of the “modern” production run from 2012-2020. While most Lucille’s bear the “Lucille” script on the headstock, this example boasts the BB King crown. I’m not sure what the specific differences are, but I bought this because of the Custom Shop fabrication, as most Lucille’s are made in Memphis.
Gibson CS has not sold the Lucille since, except for the weird flamed top “legacy” model. Excellent condition for a 13 year old guitar. Has been sitting under my bed since I purchased in 2022 and need to make space. Minor mark on bottom “horn” and light wear on neck (see photos). Otherwise, no issues, plays great, all electronics working as they should.
Comes with OHSC with BB King and Custom Shop markings, that appears to have been professionally aged. Case kept in smoke free and pet free home.
No trades, please.
