While the Les Paul Standard may get all the credit, the Gibson SG is actually the best-selling guitar in the Gibson electric guitar family. From Carlos Santana, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton, Ian McKaye and countless others have relied on the SG’s sleek, lightweight design to get their musical point across.

What we’re presenting to you today is a re-issue of the 1964 Gibson SG made by the Gibson custom shop. It has been artificially “aged” with a meticulous attention to detail to give the look, feel, and sound of an original guitar from the 1960’s. It has a mahogany body, a set mahogany ‘60’s slim taper neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard built on a 24 ¾” scale. The bridge is a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic attached to a Maestro Vibrola tremolo. The classic SG tone is delivered by a pair of un-potted Gibson Custombucker III pickups.

Guitar includes hardshell Gibson case.

Please keep in mind that it is a used piece of gear, and therefore may show some signs of normal use.
