AMEK Einstein Super 'E' 1995 - 40/80 Channel Inline Recording Mixing Console

This is the main recording console from Pulsworks Recording Studio in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, referred to as ”Console A”. Two other nearly identical consoles have been sold. This is the only one with the 24 channel tape loop installed in the patch bay. It is the most complete and most versatile of all three of the vintage AMEK consoles at the former Pulsworks Recording Studio.

This is a Vintage 1995 AMEK Einstein Super E recording console in excellent operational condition and good cosmetic condition. This console features 80 inline inputs on mixdown. Loaded with 40 preamp/line inputs and 40 outputs in a 40 input frame and 4 band EQ on each input. The console has a built-in patch bay and ample connectivity for outboard gear.

The AMEK Einstein Super E console has a big warm professional sound. It’s a great vintage UK hand-built analogue desk that measures 7 feet x 4 feet including stand. The Einstein is known for its solid build and reliability. The Amek Einstein Super E is a powerful and well-regarded analog console, especially for those who value sound quality.

The console is praised for its "warm, professional sound". Some users prefer its sound to other consoles like Neotek. The EQ is particularly well-regarded, with a 3-band EQ on each channel and a fully parametric mid-band.

This console was in-service until a few weeks ago in a recording studio but not run 24 hours per day.

The console comes complete with 40 great sounding mic pres and 80 - 4 band EQ'S during mixdown and includes the channel strip power supply, automation “True-Tone” power supply, AC and DC power cables , several spare channel strips, spare parts, EDAC connectors, manual, and stand. It is complete.

Automation cards are installed and I have a complete spare set as well. I have two channel strip power supplies - one was completely modernized with new capacitors, new rectifiers, and a new fan, and one was working when removed from service. I have two automation power supplies and none have been tested or used in several years.

Local pickup preferred although shipping in Canada may be arranged at buyers expense. The console can be crated.
