A unique delay pedal with dynamic echoes that come and go like waves!
The number of echoes and their volume are controlled by a very slow envelope. A very slow attack is applied to the delay, creating fake echoes, horrifying dissolving reverbs, and atmospheric sounds like SOS signals from a ship engulfed in a storm. It's a sound that's hard to describe.
Controls:
Slide: Controls the modulation range. Controlled by an attenuverter, neutral in the center, downbend to the right, and upbend to the left.
Gate: Varies the sensitivity of the envelope applied to changes in the signal's volume. Turning to the right increases the sensitivity.
Time: Sets the delay time. Turning to the right makes it short, turning to the left makes it long and noisy.
The delay sound is very lo-fi because the delay time is stretched by overclocking. It has a mixture of white noise, glitches, and unexpected errors, and also has the feel of a shortwave radio broadcast with a hopelessly low sensitivity.
Mix: Sets the blend of the original sound and the delay repeats. It is basically assumed that it will be used with too much wetness. Don't expect the easy-to-use controls of a typical delay pedal.
Center control:Sets Balance. Controls the number of times the delay repeats are regenerated, but is also controlled by the Gate.
Center toggle switch: Applies demodulating distortion. Turning it to the left adds a broken distortion, and the oscillation and gate sensitivity also change significantly.
*Depending on the settings, there may be no sound at all. Don't rush, turn all the knobs slowly to find the sweet spot.
