The Harvard 2 reverb amps are solid state Fenders from the allegedly but actually legendary Rivera era. They‘re about a similar size to the old 5 watt Fender Champs, but 20 watts (Some measurements shown in photos). This one was a lockdown purchase that I loved for a little while but it’s time to move on as it doesn't get used anymore. I believe it’s from around 1983 but that may be the previous owner‘s memory as these amps went on sale in 1983 for a couple of years or so. At its youngest it would be a 1985 model. Anyroads, it’s a minimum 40 years old but works and sounds great. After all, as someone said “life begins at 40”.

They can be surprisingly loud single channel amps but have volume and gain controls to work with and a master volume to keep it all under control (somewhat typical fender volume curve however - it gets quite loud very early in its range then the curve becomes more gentle).

It also has a 3 band eq, which isn’t a given with Fender amps, and (of course) it has a lovely sounding reverb, as all Fender amps do, or at least should.

This one was converted to UK power, which makes it a relative rarity on this side of the Atlantic. There’s some wear and tear and patches of external rust (see pictures).

You will have to collect it in person as it’s older than me and I wouldn’t want to risk damaging it…
