Ibanez AZ2204N VFG (Ivy Green Metallic Flat) – Prestige Series

A premium, versatile flagship modeled for modern players seeking ultimate tone and playability. The AZ2204N VFG joins Ibanez’s elite Prestige lineup, expertly crafted at FujiGen (Japan) and introduced in 2021.

Why we love this guitar!

Supreme tonal flexibility: HSS configuration plus dyna‑MIX9 + Alter switch delivers 9 distinct tones, from crisp single-coil to full humbucker grit. Perfect for blues, jazz, rock, metal, you name it.

Rock-solid stability: S-TECH roasted maple resists warping; stabilised under heat, humidity; oil finish feels like a seasoned vintage neck.

Performance-first design: Super All Access heel gives seamless access to 22th fret; ergonomic rear and forearm contours offer comfort for long sessions.

Premium hardware: Gotoh locking tuners, bone nut, brass tremolo — all work together for stable tuning, expressive playing, and warm resonance.

Tone & Feel

The AZ2204N VFG is a true chameleon — articulate for jazz, punchy for funk, searing for rock and metal. The nimble neck and jumbo stainless frets invite blazing solos, easy bends, and buttery chords. Every note sings, every position is reachable, and the build exudes refinement and confidence.
