The Suhr Standard Roasted - Dark Forest Green is a jaw-dropping, no-compromise performance guitar that blends sophisticated aesthetics with unmatched precision and tone. Designed for players who demand high-end versatility and ergonomic comfort, this Suhr Standard is a masterclass in modern guitar craftsmanship—wrapped in a striking Dark Forest Green finish that exudes understated menace and elegance in equal measure.

The body is crafted from 2-piece Roasted Alder, a tonewood prized for its resonance, stability, and weight balance. Enhanced with arm, hand, and tummy contours, this guitar is sculpted to feel like an extension of the player’s body. The roasted treatment not only adds visual richness to the grain but improves the wood’s resistance to moisture and temperature shifts—making it ultra-reliable on and off the stage.

Paired with this refined body is a Roasted Maple neck capped with an Ebony fretboard, offering lightning-fast response and a sleek, glassy feel under your fingers. The neck is finished in satin for a silky-smooth, non-sticky playing experience, perfect for long sessions and quick position shifts. Its Even C Extra Slim profile (.770”–.850”) delivers a modern, fast-playing neck that still feels comfortable and familiar. Add to that the 11”-16” compound radius and 22 Jumbo stainless-steel frets, and you've got a fretboard built for expressive bends, clean articulation, and blazing speed.

Topping it all off is a visually unique Reverse Original Headstock, adding a bit of flair and attitude, along with Suhr locking tuners for rock-solid tuning stability. The Wilkinson WVS 130 2-post tremolo with locking saddles and steel block is both smooth and reliable, offering expressive vibrato without sacrificing tuning integrity. The 1.65" Tusq nut ensures precise string spacing and excellent sustain, while Chrome hardware ties the whole aesthetic together with a sleek, premium look.

Tonally, this guitar is a weapon of dynamic range and clarity. It’s loaded with a carefully chosen HSS pickup configuration: a Suhr SSV Reverse Zebra humbucker in the neck, a V60 single-coil in the middle, and a SSH Plus Zebra humbucker in the bridge. This trio delivers everything from lush, vintage-inspired warmth to searing modern crunch. The SSCII electronics system provides transparent, noiseless single-coil performance, making this guitar studio-quiet and stage-ready. Control is intuitive and versatile via the classic Volume, Tone, and 5-way switch layout.

Aesthetically, details like Green Luminlay side dots and Clay face dot inlays provide both visual charm and practical function, especially under low-light conditions. The black Suhr decal with silver fill complements the overall stealthy, high-performance vibe. At just 8 lbs 0 oz, it’s lightweight enough for all-night gigs without compromising tone or sustain.

Complete with a Deluxe Gig Bag, the Suhr Standard Roasted - Dark Forest Green is a professional-grade instrument for players who want tone, speed, and style in one stunning, expertly built package.
