DeArmond Starfire Bass in black with DeArmond case.
Late 90s(?) bass in very good shape. Has some slight dings and an added mini switch, not sure if it does anything, I can’t tell. Has DeArmond USA pickups. The jack plate has been replaced, that doesn’t look original. It‘s strung with Thomsatik-Infeld Flatwounds.
Update:
I’d had a question about the fingerboard near the nut, there has been some sort of patching between the fingerboard binding and the neck. It’s been stable, no changes in 15+ years I’ve owned it. Also, in taking more pictures of it, after all these years and looking closer in the F-holes, there are some “christmas” lights wired in. What they are supposed to do and how they were wired in there is a mystery.
As stated previously, it plays fine, I don’t notice any change in sound when flipping the mini switch. And certainly no lights turn on…
