Up for sale is Stick Enterprises’ Chapman Stick #877, a 10-string Rosewood with a Stickup pickup and pearl dot inlays. The instrument is in very good condition and is a 34” scale Chapman Stick that features the following:
• 3-D bridge with optional 6+4 string configuration - The instrument has a unique bridge feature that allows the 6th string to be moved to the melody side allowing a 4 bass + 6 melody string configuration. The 3-D bridge was a significant evolution in the design, allowing for finer adjustments to the intonation
• A single truss, an advancement that allows for easy adjustments to the action
• Constructed of the recently discontinued Rosewood
All the hardware on this handcrafted instrument is in great condition (tuners, bridge, pickup, adjustable belt hook) and the sale includes the following accessories:
finer
• Adjustable leather neck strap
• Truss wrench
• Allen wrench
• ATA Hardshell case
Constructed in 1995, the instrument has a few nicks but still plays like a dream. The denser Indian Rosewood construct provides for greater sustain, and the coloration of the grain on the rear of this specific instrument is both unique and beautiful.
