Custom Inductor and Period-Accurate Components for Authentic Tone

To capture the nuance and detail of Ronson's unique wah sound, Dunlop's engineers meticulously recreated his early Italian-made Cry Baby Wah pedal. This involved creating a custom inductor that replicates the higher frequency response and subtler peak of the original pedal, resulting in a balanced sonic profile that's both bright and clear. The pedal also features period-accurate low-gain transistors and value-matched resistors that contribute to its distinctive EQ curve, ensuring an authentic vintage wah experience.

Fast Initial Sweep and Responsive Feel

The Mick Ronson Cry Baby Wah pedal features a fast initial sweep on the potentiometer, providing an instant reactivity that's reminiscent of vintage wahs. This responsive feel allows for expressive and dynamic wah effects, making it easy to create a wide range of classic and modern sounds. Whether you're using the pedal for traditional wah voicings or exploring new sonic textures, the Mick Ronson Cry Baby Wah delivers exceptional control and responsiveness.

Fixed-Wah Tones for a Unique Sonic Flavor

Mick Ronson was known for using his wah pedal in a fixed position to create unique tonal colors and textures.
