The Wampler Ego Compressor is a studio-quality compressor pedal designed to give you total control over your dynamics—without sacrificing your tone or feel. Whether you want subtle sustain and clarity or full-on country-style squish, the Ego delivers with precision and musicality.

Unlike many compressors that flatten your sound, the Ego is engineered to retain your natural playing dynamics, offering transparent compression and increased sustain without unwanted coloration. Thanks to the clean blend control, you can mix your dry signal back in for parallel compression, giving you the best of both worlds—enhanced presence and dynamics with your original tone intact.

• Studio-grade compression in a compact pedal

• Blend control for parallel compression (mix dry and compressed signals)

• Retains playing dynamics and enhances sustain

• Controls: Sustain, Attack, Tone, Volume, Blend

• True Bypass switching

• Power: 9V DC (standard center-negative)

Whether you leave it always on to tighten up your tone or use it as a feature effect, the Wampler Ego Compressor is widely praised for its musicality, versatility, and road-ready build quality.
