I'm extremely honored to have been asked to help in the sale of this hand signed and stage played drum head of Ringo Starr's.
Ringo Starr played this Remo 14" Controlled Sound snare drum head on June 1st, 2000 at The Horseshoe Casino Tunica in Robinsonville, Mississippi in a live performance with his sixth All Starr Band. It was the 16th show of their 32 date North American tour from May through July 2000.
The head is part of a collection of Ringo's stage played sticks and heads curated by Ringo's longtime drum tech, Jeff Chonis since 1999. In 2024, Ringo authorized the sale of a very small number of these items to benefit his Lotus Foundation charity. Ringo hand signed the drum head in 2024.
There are many Ringo Starr signed drum heads that can be found all over the internet. This is the ONLY Ringo Starr signed, stage played and authenticated snare drum head that is currently available anywhere.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to The Lotus Foundation.
The tour poster in the photos is not included.
Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Jeff Chonis and Donn Bennett.
