Collings is a world-class guitar maker based in Austin, Texas, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding structural integrity, playability, and beautifully refined finish work.

This is the OM-1, Collings' definitive Mahogany model and one of the brand's standard models representing the highest level of Collings quality.

The OM-1 features a Solid Sitka Spruce top with Solid Honduran Mahogany back and sides, paired with a one-piece Honduran Mahogany neck. The carefully selected materials are representative of what is often referred to as "Collings quality," with beautiful, silky-grained Spruce, premium Mahogany, and meticulous construction throughout.

Although the OM-1 is a standard model in the Collings lineup, its level of craftsmanship, stability, finish quality, and overall construction is exceptional.

The sound is equally impressive. It offers excellent volume, strong projection, sustain, and natural reverb, with an even and effortless response across all six strings and throughout the entire fingerboard. Notes start immediately and remain clear and well defined, giving the instrument an exceptionally refined and responsive character.

The Mahogany construction provides a warm yet focused tonal character, with excellent clarity and a strong fundamental. The OM body shape offers an excellent balance between comfort and projection, making the guitar equally suitable for fingerstyle playing, chord work, and vocal accompaniment.

The pre-war-style scalloped Advanced X bracing further contributes to the guitar's powerful and responsive voice.

The neck is made from a single piece of Honduran Mahogany and features an adjustable truss rod. The combination of the comfortable OM body, 647.7mm scale length, and 42.86mm nut width provides an exceptionally familiar and comfortable playing feel.

The high-gloss Nitrocellulose lacquer body finish and high-gloss polyester resin neck finish provide both a refined appearance and a smooth playing experience.

This is a brand-new instrument and comes with the original hard case.
