Russ McKinnon's Joe Cocker 1999-2000 World Tour Sabian 22" Heavy Ride Cymbal 4208g (RM S #14)
Russ McKinnon joined Joe Cocker’s touring band in 1999 to support Cockers “No Ordinary World” CD. McKinnon jumped at the chance to work with the legendary “Woodstock” era vocalist, whom he’d long admired.
Russ played this 22" Sabian Heavy Ride cymbal for Joe Cocker's entire 1999-2000 world tour that performed 170 large scale concerts across 26 countries. All of the printing on the top of the cymbal has been polished off, so we're not sure what specific model this cymbal is. The cymbal is in excellent condition with no issues.
Russ signed the underside of the cymbal.
This cymbal has amazing stick definition, beautiful control and balanced dynamic range, quiet to loud. We left the cymbal just as we received it from Russ, finger prints and all!
See and hear the cymbal in the live Joe Cocker video.
Comes with a COA signed by Russ McKinnon.
Weight: 4,208 Grams
