1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Alpine White
What we have here is a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Alpine White. The Gibson Les Paul is without a doubt one of the most popular guitars of all time. Since it's release in 1952, players all around the world were drawn to it's classic, sleek design and although the Les Paul has undergone various spec changes throughout the years, it remains one of the most sought after guitar models of all time. This particular model is fitted with all original wiring and electronics, the most notable of which are the original Tim Shaw P.A.F. Humbuckers, one of the most sought after pickups in the history of Gibson. This particular example has a significant amount of finish checking, which is to be expected of a guitar this age. It also has experienced some minor separation of the binding near the headstock, though it shouldn't pose any major issues. This guitar was fitted with a Kahler bridge which was not stock from the factory, and now acts solely as a bridge for the guitar. The Kahler is not functional. The guitar has been fully reconditioned in-store and has been setup by our guitar technician to play like a dream. Included is the original Gibson "Chainsaw" style case. Please contact us for a more accurate shipping rate, the listed rate is only an estimate.
