Hi,
This is a 27 5/8" Baritone version of my TG-250 "Lady on the Beach" guitar model - no. 182. I completed it in June of last year and I'm the only one who has ever handled it, as of this writing.
After 29 years of shooting lacquer, I've switched to waterbased poly finishes - and loving it! Lacquers have gotten so soft in recent decades. And it starts checking within just a few years - but not in an attractive way like an old Gibson.
I have this guitar tuned from B to B, and it plays so easily. The action hasn't moved a bit in its first year. Strung with D'Addario .014 - .068. But, at your request, I'll string it with your choice of strings (if I can find 'em).
Bookmatched Quilted Big Leaf Maple top
Curly Soft Maple back
Glued-in 5 piece laminated figured hard Maple and Black Walnut neck
27 5/8" scale, Pau Ferro fretboard with 12 in. radius
22 jumbo frets, bone nut, two-way trussrod
Seymour Duncan SH-2(n), SH-4(br) with Push/Push coil tapping
Gotoh Tune-0-matic bridge/ Stop tailpiece
Locking Bitterroot tuners
I do not have a case for this guitar. But, I can arrange to get one for you at my cost, if I can find one. I will also be glad to answer any of your questions about this lovely, handmade baritone guitar.
I'll try to make a video of this one soon. In the meantime, search Joe Till Guitars online. I've got a bunch of stuff up on youtube, etc.
Thanks.
