You’re looking at a Roxy Pink PRS Silver Sky with a nicely figured maple neck, which sets it apart from your vanilla Silver Sky. I got it from Dave’s Guitar as a used instrument. The figuring continues through to the headstock. The rosewood fretboard has a nice dark color with some nice streaking.
This guitar has been played in a smoke-free and pet-free environments. It definitely nails that low output, single coil pick-up sound. I use it with a boost in-line, and it sounds quite good. Now, while it sounds great, I decided to part ways with it in favor of a satin-neck Silver Sky. I was going to modify the finish on this neck, but decided against it.
The guitar is stock. The bridge is decked the way it comes from the factory with 10-46 strings. The pick-ups and electronics and hardware are all stock.
Condition wise, this guitar is a 9 out of 10. I baby my guitars, and it has been lovingly cared for. It does have light finish swirling. Frets are great, plenty of life left in them. The hardware (bridge) is in great shape. I don't see signs of oxidation, which can happen to this type of bridge based on your personal chemistry and humid environments. I found a small surface scratch on the back near the lower leg relief (pictured), a finish discoloration near the strap button (pictured), and some cracking of the clear coat near the neck plate (pictured). The pick guard has a crack at one of the screws where it looks like it may have been over-tightened (pictured). The pickguard break was definitely there when I first got it. I am less sure about the clear coat cracking at the neck plate. I suspect it was, but this was the first time I noticed it.
It comes with its factory soft case, tremolo arm, tools, and light paperwork. The case is in near new condition.
I do not accept returns. Please ask questions. It’s a great guitar, and I am happy to meet up locally within an hour’s drive from Fort Meade in MD.
