This is a 1983 Ibanez AS80 with a Cherry finish. Made in Japan's FujiGen factory, the AS80 was first introduced in '83, went through material changes in 1985 and was later discontinued in 1987.
It has a double-cutaway, semi-hollow body, a set neck, hard rock maple center block, laminated maple top and cream binding. This one is all original and includes its pair of Super 58 humbuckers, Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar II bridge, a Quik Change II tailpiece, a bone nut, a black pickguard, Sure Grip II knobs, and Smooth Tuner machine heads. It's in awesome condition, with some tarnish on its hardware, a few nicks and scratches here and there, as well as a washer around its jack to cover some lacquer flaking. It feels awesome and sounds it. It weighs 9 lbs, 8 oz.
It has been professionally setup and comes with a hardshell case.
