Yairi GYM72ce Masterworks Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar w/ Hardshell Case – Natural

The Yairi GYM72ce combines premium Adirondack spruce and solid East Indian rosewood in a versatile Grand Auditorium cutaway. Handcrafted in Kani, Japan, this Masterworks acoustic-electric brings together expressive tone, refined appointments and comfortable proportions, with a natural gloss finish that highlights its carefully selected woods.

Adirondack spruce is prized for its clarity, dynamic range and ability to respond to a strong picking attack. Paired with rosewood’s deep bass and rich harmonic character, it gives the GYM72ce a broad tonal palette for fingerstyle arrangements, articulate flatpicking and full rhythmic accompaniment. The Grand Auditorium body balances fullness with definition, while the cutaway provides convenient access to the upper frets.

Hand-carved FST6 forward-shifted bracing with asymmetric tone bars uses lighter braces to encourage soundboard movement while maintaining structural support. Yairi’s ebony Direct Coupled bridge transfers string vibration into the top, complemented by an extended dovetail neck joint and meticulous attention to construction.

A one-piece mahogany neck with a semi-gloss finish meets an ebony fingerboard, with a 25½-inch scale length and 44 mm nut width offering a versatile playing platform. Ivoroid binding, abalone and mother-of-pearl details, and gold Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons add understated elegance. A bone nut and saddle and ebony bridge pins complete the appointments.

The LR Baggs HiFi pickup system provides amplification for performances and recording sessions. Supplied with a hardshell case, the GYM72ce delivers the tonal depth and craftsmanship of a Japanese-built Masterworks instrument with the flexibility of an acoustic-electric.
