Blonde Tolex transition version of the Blackface Tremolux, dated April, 1964.
AB763 circuit, with original power transformer, output transformer and choke. All original Blonde tolex and gold sparkle grill cloth. Original matching Blonde closed-back 2x10 speaker cab, with Oxford 10” speakers and Fender chrome tilt back legs. The chassis serial number is A01482.
Upgrades from 2021 include replacement of the filter capacitors and a handful of resistors, tweaks to the tremolo circuit, an added a 3-prong grounded power cord, and disabling the non-grounded ‘convenience’ outlet on the back of the head. All replaced parts will be provided as well.
The amp knobs have been replaced, as well as the knurled thumb screws that attach the head to the piggyback speaker cab. It also has a modern replacement single-button footswitch for the tremolo channel, and a padded Tuki-style cover for the head.
The strong tested vintage vacuum tubes push out around 35 Watts, with a GZ34 rectifier tube.
