Gretsch G6228FM in Deep Cherry Stain

The Gretsch G6228FM Players Edition Jet BT V Stoptail Deep Cherry Stain comes from my private collection and was never gigged or never even left the house. It is in as-new condition with the plastic protector still on the guard. 

The tight flame top is hard to catch with the camera but it is there!

The guitars is equipped with resonance chambers and a stylish flamed maple top, while the glued neck is made of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. Two Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 pickups promise a harmonious and rich sound with the typical Gretsch character. The Gretsch G6228FM Players Edition Jet has an Adjusto-Matic bridge with "V" Stoptail and precise Gotoh locking tuners.

Gretsch G6228FM Players Edition Jet with resonance chambers

For the construction of the Gretsch G6228FM Jet Players Edition a mahogany body is used. The resonance chambers characterize the sound with a rich midrange spectrum and an even attack. The set-in mahogany neck with the " Standard U" profile also offers optimum playing characteristics over the entire ebony fingerboard. Another optical highlight is the curly maple top, and the finely drawn flame is perfectly accentuated by the Deep Cherry Stain finish.

Classic Gretsch sound with Broad'Tron BT65 pickups

The Gretsch G6228FM Players Edition Jet BT V-Stop tail has two Broad'Tron BT65s Gretsch Humbuckers developed by the legendary pickup designer Tim Shaw. The pickups have a deep bass range, pronounced mid-range and a finely nuanced treble. The Gretsch circuit includes individual volume controls for each pickup as well as general tone and master volume.
