Denon 700 Reel To Reel Tape Recorder w 8089 Preamp Project 1950s

This will need some serious TLC but I believe it has good bones. When I bought it all the multi pin connectors were cut. I was able to resolder and shrink wrap the one that connects The power switch to the mains plug. I also replaced the ac mains cord with a grounded 3 prong. I found that the tape recorder motors are running, and the preamp unit passes audio on line in and mic inputs. That being said, this will need a full going through, and the other two snakes reattached. None of the lights are working, may need replacement bulbs. Also one of the knobs has deteriorated where you can see the shaft it is attached to coming through, the last one all the way to the right. It still functions as intended. A piece of what looks like the tape lifter Disintegrated around its screw post. There are also 3 wires disconnected on the record way selector switch. Two yellows and a black. The original Matsushita Tubes are nice and quite rare. Lots of cosmetic wear. This unit is sold completely as is.
