Zildjian Kerope Medium Thin Low Ride 2025 - Traditional (1846g)

20" Kerope Medium Thin Low Ride (1846g)

Zildjian has just released the legendary handmade KEROPE series again, and Junk Rock Drum Shop has 6 of these incredible ride cymbals to share!

Featured here is the 20" Medium Thin Low Ride, in a versatile 1846g. SOUND FILE BELOW!

Here are some details:

• As we write this ad, these are being released by Zildjian TODAY May 5, 2025. We will add their descriptions to this ad, but for now I will share my assessment
• This cymbal is light and has that wonderful wobble, and a very clear stick definition and wonderful crash. It's a bit darker than a few other examples we received, but that's relative. It has a great shimmer and is more ride-able than lighter options.
• These have a classic taper, strong bell presence (see video sound file).
• This is the medium, of the three 20" we have (we have one that is in the 1700g range and another in the 1900 gram range. This is on the cusp of the Medium Thin Low category andI think it lives up to that name. It actually would make an incredible crash in any situation. But still has plenty stick definition and play for a ride. I'd say it's as thin and light that a cymbal can be as a ride. The 20" rides, on the medium or lighter side, in this series work best in light to mid-volume settings when riding, and take off into crash-mode quicker than the 22"
• Just incredible, I would pair these with older Kerope but also with old K's and A's. Great for jazz, improvisational music, acoustic, rock, singer-songwriter, and of course I can't wait to try it in some recordings. Very versatile cymbal.
• There will be fingerprints, some light stick marks, and factory marks as this was hand made and then played in shop for our demo videos.

This is incredible. Please check our Instagram/Facebook as we announce when new items will be listed on reverb. Also, more of these Kerope are on there way!

**Selling as is based on photos and description. As with all vintage and used gear, we inspect and describe to the best of our ability. There may always be new discoveries from owner to owner. We also cannot guarantee a perfect match of color, finish, or wrap to your current drums. Please ask questions prior to purchase. We’re happy to inspect further as needed.

**Shipments will happen on weekdays only. So if something is purchased between Friday 5pm EST and Monday 9am EST, there could be a wait until boxed and shipped. Thank you!

**For cymbal weights, we often share the gram weight. Some cymbals were weighed by the factory or maker, some by former owners, some by our shop. So the labeled weight in grams is a ballpark, and we do not claim it to be a perfect science. Gram weight may vary from scale to scale, owner to owner and we maintain that the weight we mention is approximate and a ballpark.
