The Cometa is a 30" scale hollowbody bass inspired by the Kay 162 and the Harmony H22. The body is made from alder and poplar and has a 3-piece walnut neck. The pickup is an AlNiCo 5 humbucker, and has a handmade aluminum bridge.
While this is a "new" bass, it is definitely what you'd call a "shop bass" or a prototype. The finish isn't perfect, and there are a few technical details I will have to address with the next build. That being said, this bass plays great and sounds exactly like you would expect it to sound.
