Selling my blue Robbie mic preamp. Unit has been kept in my studio and is in good condition. Sounds awesome.
The Blue Robbie is a single-channel, Class-A discrete tube microphone and instrument preamplifier known for a clean, transparent sound rather than heavy, transformer-saturated "vintage" color.
Build & Design Characteristics
• Circuit Type: Pure Class-A discrete tube gain stage (utilizing an ECC88 / 6922 twin triode tube) paired with a solid-state output stage and no integrated circuits (ICs).
• Specs: 10Hz–100kHz frequency response, -131 dB EIN, 0.006% THD, and 34 dB of headroom before clipping.
• I/O: Rear balanced XLR mic input, rear balanced XLR line output, and front-panel 1/4" high-Z instrument input with a polarity switch, -20dB pad, and phantom power.
