Keilwerth SX90R Eb Professional Alto Saxophone - Shadow

The Power of Alchemy: Keilwerth’s SX90R Shadow Alto

The Keilwerth SX90R Shadow pushes the cutting edge of design and performance for professional alto saxophones. With the SX90R Shadow alto, Keilwerth has taken a different approach from most saxophone makers who fashion their horns from brass, bronze, or perhaps solid silver. The body is crafted from German nickel silver, which resonates freely and is highly responsive to the expressive subtleties in your technique. Further, a coating of black nickel plating lends depth to the Shadow’s powerful, centered sound. This top-of-the-line instrument’s dazzling visuals are enhanced by its silver-plated inner bell and keywork, which serve to highlight the horn’s gorgeous hand engraving. Free blowing and quick, with perfectly balanced action across the entire range, the SX90R is spec’d with adjustable palm keys that let you customize key height for maximum ergonomic comfort over long playing sessions. If you’re an alto player in the market for an outstanding professional horn, the Keilwerth SX90R Shadow deserves a serious audition.
