Really nice, low miles on this 1968 12T6. These were among the very few Fender ever put in their high-powered amplifiers. The deluxe, the bassman, the Pro. Bandmaster and of course the Twin Reverb were all at one time sporting one of these sturdy and awesome sounding speakers. And in the year 1968, Jensen had already left, so this would have been one of your few stock options besides JBL or the dreaded Utah, lol.
This one was actually in a very little used 50s era Orpheus Leslie 25 when I found it, so it had an easy life and was sealed in a cabinet with very little oxygen creeping in, hence the nice color on the paper and the crisp look overall. The speaker is nicely broken in but it is not loose or likely to fizzle out in many years to come. 8 ohms and I believe the part number on this one may denote that it was intended for a deluxe? Although there is another part number on there, the default or the one that they default to is on the sticker there which also has the eia code or is it iea? Anyway.. it's really rare to see those stickers in the first place, and if you're looking for an original 12 for your 12-in combo this is probably the best one from this model year! Aside from a JBL of course... but these are darn nice and very compliant and efficient as guitar speakers go. And they won't cost you a lot of money. Thanks for looking and price include shipping!
Item is sold as is, but is tested and will arrive in pictured condition. If you'd like to see an ohmmeter test, no problem.
