The Ibanez SRD900 4-String electric bass guitar is a part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop, designed for players seeking new sonic possibilities. With a unique 30-fret Panga Panga fingerboard, the SRD900 offers access to upper-register notes typically reserved for upright basses. Its semi-hollow body construction adds a rich acoustic character to the tone, while the combination of Nordstrand Big Break pickups and the AeroSilk piezo system delivers a full-bodied, versatile sound. Whether you're playing in the studio or on stage, the SRD900 provides an innovative, dynamic performance that meets the needs of modern bassists. The SRD900 features a stunning flamed maple top over an okoume body, providing a bright, resonant sound with visual appeal. The semi-hollow construction adds a layer of warmth and acoustic depth, making this bass a standout both sonically and aesthetically. Luminescent side dots make fretboard navigation easy, even in low-light environments, ensuring this bass is as functional as it is innovative. The Panga Panga fingerboard, with 30 frets, offers extended range for upper-register playing, allowing bassists to explore new musical ideas. The 5-piece maple and walnut neck ensures tonal clarity and superior attack, while the medium frets enhance note accuracy. The AeroSilk MR5 bridge, designed to work with the piezo system, enhances the acoustic qualities of the bass and ensures precise intonation. The SRD900 is equipped with Nordstrand Big Break pickups, delivering powerful, aggressive tone with the clarity of single coils and noiseless performance. The AeroSilk piezo system, integrated into the custom bridge, adds an acoustic "air" to the sound, giving the bass an upright-like quality. This combination of magnetic and piezo pickups provides a wide tonal range, from deep, rich lows to articulate highs, making the SRD900 perfect for any genre.
