Zildjian K Paper Thin 20" Crash Cymbal – Dark, Responsive Vintage Sound

The Zildjian K Paper Thin Crash brings back a legendary weight class refined through over 70 years of cymbal evolution. Reintroduced after decades of demand from drummers seeking its distinctive character, this 20" crash combines Zildjian's four-century expertise with modern research and development to deliver a cymbal that responds with speed and nuance. Weighing significantly less than standard crash cymbals, the Paper Thin profile generates a commanding dark tone with quick decay and effortless playability. An advanced three-step hammering process enhances flexibility and reveals complex sonic layers that give these crashes their signature character.

The thin construction produces a subtle shimmer on impact while maintaining a focused low-end resonance that distinguishes it within Zildjian's K Family lineup. Whether you're exploring darker, more expressive tones or seeking the responsiveness of a lighter cymbal without sacrificing projection, the K Paper Thin delivers versatility for contemporary and classic playing styles.
