Paiste Signature Traditionals Light Flat Ride Cymbal 22" – Controlled Jazz Tone

The Paiste Signature Traditionals Light Flat Ride represents decades of Swiss cymbal craftsmanship combined with the innovative flat ride concept developed in the late 1960s. This 22-inch cymbal delivers a refined, articulate sound that remains defined across all dynamic ranges, making it ideal for jazz ensembles, acoustic settings, and intimate musical contexts. The absence of a traditional bell allows for exceptional control and prevents the cymbal from overpowering accompanying musicians, even during spirited playing.

Crafted from premium bronze alloys using time-honored Swiss manufacturing techniques, this medium-light weight cymbal produces dark, complex tones with silvery, clear highs in the ping. The softer response and feel make it particularly suited for quieter performance environments where subtlety and musicality are paramount.

Whether you're accompanying soloists or contributing to a full ensemble, this flat ride cymbal delivers the controlled, unobtrusive character that has made it a favorite among jazz professionals worldwide.
